Self-Portrait

Yeah, that's a self portrait.

An assignment i did (crammed) for my Conceptual Photography class.

<sub>Actually I myself was having a hard time explaining why I did this for self portaiture. Haha.

Ok. My intention really was to highlight the importance of specific small parts in a whole. That explains the series of macro shots.

As for the usage of my orange chucks (well aside from the fact that those are my suuper favorite malandi shoes! hehe.), I didn't want a 'typical me' photo. I wanted something else to represent me.

If you'll ask me why there's a monotone series opposite to the colored one, i'll give you a corny answer. Haha. It's because, life's like that.

Because I am like that.
